Well we loaded the race car onto the truck once more and headed out to Willowbank Raceway last night for their Test'n'Tune event.
It commenced around 6pm and Mama had 6 passes on the night.
I was really rapted with my first two reactions as both were .038 next was .099 then .101
Last pass of the night Warren wanted me to try something different. He had hooked a solenoid up to the accelerater and wanted me to stall the car up, hold my pinky on the button then release when the lights were triggered.
Sounded like a good plan right? Nope, car's carbi is not set-up correctly to leave on higher revs and the car bogged on take off which in turn gave mama a .197 reaction and the car only ran 11.685 before this it ran: 11.60 11.59 then the air improved slightly seeing the runs at 11.54 , 11.55 & 11.58
Overall we were pleased with the car's performance and now ready for the next major meeting for us to be held at Palmyra Dragway, Mackay on the 2nd & 3rd October.

Might try to get in another test day before our long road trip of 1000 kilometres each way. :)
