Update from mama:

Early rise at 5am, on track at 7.30am, with 3 qualifying runs before midday.

The Rover showed signs of very consistent performances running 11.77 11.78 and 11.79 seconds over the quarter mile.

We had quite a wait before our Super Street Brackets first round of racing at 7.49pm.

This saw mama with a .026 reaction and running 11.77 on our 11.76 dial-in for the win.

The second round was at 10.12pm and I had a .020 reaction to my opponents .042 but unfortunately mama had brain-fade at the finish line. This put an end to our racing for the day so we spent the rest of the night cheering on our favourite racers.

The Nitro Funny Cars put on a good show as usual and were very entertaining.

Next event for the Mama's Toy Racing Team is 6th February at Willowbank Raceways Bracket Event.

Current standings:

3rd Place in the Willowbank Raceway Track Championship with four meetings to go till end of season.

Leading our Super Street bracket in the RARS (Rocket Allstar Racing Series) for the season 2009/2010.

Cassidy Spencer - Junior Dragster - Runner-up
Kaylene Gourley - Super Sedan went through to the third round before being eliminated.
